Over ten years of research went into producing Mr. Wallace's first book, Black Wealth Through Black Entrepreneurship. Wallace's research included detailed questionnaires, one-on-one and group interviews with dozens of minority business owners, in-depth case studies of specific businesses and extensive business research.

Robert L. Wallace initiated his ten year study while attending The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College where he assisted in development of the acclaimed Minority Business Executive Training Program. As program facilitator, he became acquainted with dozens of successful minority entrepreneurs from all walks of life. His association with such dynamic personalities paved the way for the completion of his heralded tome, Black Wealth Through Black Entrepreneurship.
